The wind
is carrying
the prayers
of spiders
today—
their webs
dripping light
gold and streaming
against the sky.

What was
once woven
as bridges
and nets
now lifted
from their
earthly tethers
into the heavens
as a blessing
for all to see—
a ceremony
a dance
and a celebration
most often invisible
to the human eye
revealed by
the afternoon sun—
each thread
singing the song
of everything:

“I am here
to live."
